Dr. Mota, a Venezuela native, came to Texas to fulfill her residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. After several years working as a physician, Estela realized the medical system wasn’t serving the community the way she hoped it would. In order to provide personalized care and reach the people in need of it most, she knew she had to carve a new path for herself. Her passion to better the community and improve lives lead Dr. Mota to start Wave Medical.

A naturally creative person, Gustavo grew up in Venezuela and trained as an academic clarinetist. He Moved to Texas with his wife Dr. Mota and now invests all his skills and abilities into the operations of Wave Medical. His warmth, dedication, and creative spirit make him the perfect backbone and support system for our team.
Care Coordinator
As a wife, mom of three, and Mimi to two grandsons, Jeannie is a natural caregiver. She has years of experience in healthcare delivery as a financial counselor, a practice administrator, and a case manager. Her true passion is Patient Advocacy. She will make sure you are aware, comfortable and empowered in your options and receive the healthcare you deserve.
